Buongiorno tutti...another amazing week in Bari:) Transfer calls are on Saturday, don't ask me how time is going by so fast I don't understand! I don't think I'll ever be ready to say goodbye to these people but it's gonna have to happen sometime...excited to see what happens!
Well this week was a little bit interesting....every now and then down here in southern Italy the buses decide they are all going to go on strike hahaha which means us missionaries can't get to any of our appointments! So we had to be creative and find new people to see and teach and the amount of miracles we saw was SO AWESOME! One night we were waiting at a bus stop when this cute girl comes up and starts talking to us and informs us that all the buses aren't coming, so we had the chance to walk all the way back home with her!! And she was SO ready to hear this gospel. She's from Ostuni but works here in Bari during the week. She's an architect and lived in London so she speaks English and we had a really cool conversation about the gospel, at the end she gave us her information and told us we could come by and share more! She said she wanted to escape and get out of Italy but after talking with us she said maybe this is what she's looking for:) Another day we were walking to the church and out of no where this cute old man stops in the middle of the road and just smiled at us. We approached him and started talking to him, and immediately he remembered in 1966 he was given a Book of Mormon and had taken the lessons with the missionaries! So we set up an appointment and taught him and his family twice this last week...oh my goodness they're something else:) ...I think we have found a golden family!! We taught them the plan of salvation and afterwards Sorella Nelson and I just looked at each other and were like "this is why we came on a mission." It was just one of the best moments to teach a family and tell them they can be together forever through Gods plan. The Spirit completely took over and this family seemed very touched. This is why I left my family for a year and a half, to teach families that more happiness awaits them than they can IMAGINE! So to sum things up I was weirdly grateful for Italian transportation this week. One morning we went with the anziani and cleaned Sorella Avantarios house (she's the hoarder) it was quite the experience haha. She was a bit hesitant at first but within a couple hours we had thrown away SO many things and cleaned up lots of mold and cat poop, haha it was a bit schifo but we replaced all her cat pictures on the wall with pictures of Christ and the Rome temple. And at the end we shared how when we have a house in order we can feel the Spirit and she couldn't thank us enough, service is the best it was so much fun! Also she came to church for the first time since I have been here, (she has realllllly bad health) I think that was one of the best moments of my life. When she walked in the door I think I shed a few tears, as she was hugging all the members and singing the hymns she started crying she was so happy. God is so good! Giulia. We met this cute 18 yr old girl at English course a while ago, exchanged numbers and never heard from her. Last week Sorella Nelson and I both felt impressed to ask her if she had interest in the gospel and if we could teach her, so we did...and guess what she said? SI! We met in the church and began by asking her what role Christ has played in her life, it turned out to be one of the most spiritual lessons I have ever been apart of in the mission. She was in a car crash 3 months ago and her best friend driving the car passed away, and she told us she felt alone and no one understood her. And we were like you're right we don't, but CHRIST DOES. And the Spirit just filled the room it was so amazing. She began to cry and we cried with her. She said she's been searching for something and I know that if she continues on this path she will find so much peace and comfort, because the gospel of Jesus Christ does that for us! We had a real awesome lesson with Gabriella, she is reading the Book of Mormon every day and has some real desire to know if this is right YAY! We drew this visual thing with faith, repentance, baptism, Holy Ghost, and perseverando fino alla fine and asked her what step she was on and she was like repentance! and we were like do you want to progress? And she's like well of course that's the whole purpose of life, so I guess baptism is next right? So she really has a desire now to be baptized, she's a bit hesitant to set a date but her desire to prepare herself is super FORTE! So happy for her! Haha something funny this week. So we had zone conference and it was so powerful and inspiring and really just pumped Sorella Nelson and I up to be more consecrated and dedicated missionaries and we were just on fuoco and wanted to go talk to EVERYONE about the gospel. So we head to the bus stop hoping that a bus might come and here was a man waiting so of course we took the opportunity to talk to him, haha so we do and it was very clear he didn't want to talk to us, he wouldn't make eye contact and he was just kinda grunting but that didn't stop us! So we continue to talk about who we are and why we are here and still nothing, and then Sorella Nelson and I realize how weird people probably think we are and we just started laughing and we couldn't stop! And then the man just joined in and started laughing with us! Still no eye contact, but it made my whole day to see that man laugh. I love being a missionary! Haha last night we were doing a gesso and the police made us move so instead we stood in the middle of downtown and sang hymns-all us missionaries. It was a cool experience and the Spirit was strong:) I have learned that even if people don't listen to us or reject our message we still have the opportunity to help others feel the love that God has for them! And I love that, even though people think we're really crazy and our message is not importante I hope I can help them feel loved. God loves us! He's so good to us! Go share that love with everyone :) Xoxoxo Sorella Taylor

This week was SO GREAT!!! The church is so true! We've recognized Gods hand in every moment of the day this past week and it's the most amazing thing He really is watching over us!
A couple small miracles I want to share, one night we went to go see this family we had been teaching and when we knocked on their door no one answered but we both had the feeling to keep waiting. As were waiting we could hear a lot of people in the apartment next to us and both had the strongest feeling to knock on their door. So we did, and a cute big family from Nigeria opened the door:) we told the dad we had a message on the family to share and he said sure come in! First time I've ever been let in to a house doing casa a casa yay!!!! Anyways we find out they're all Muslim but not practicing, which means we have to get permission from president to teach them but we really feel they have a lot of potential, they loved our message and we found Book of Mormons for them in French and Igbo:) were teaching them the restoration next week! I did a scambio with the Foggia greenie Sorella Peterson this last week and we saw SO many miracles it was awesome! One morning we had to make a trip up to Carbonara to visit a less active. On the bus ride there we were talking to this man about why we are here and he seemed very interested and out of no where this lady comes and sits across from him and says "listen to these girls, what they are saying is true. Think about it, after Christ and His apostles died the authority was not on the earth anymore and there had to have been a need for a restoration! What they're saying is true!" #memberpresentlesson it was the craziest thing, turns out she had been to our church a couple times many years ago and loved it. She gave us her number and we're seeing her Tuesday! The other man we were talking to also gave us his number, haha I think he was just as shocked as we were :) Before going to Carbonara I had a feeling to grab a progress record of a girl who lived in Carbonara, had been taught one time but the missionaries in the past dropped her cause she didn't have time to see them. Anyways, after teaching our less active we walked around in the pouring rain trying to find this address! This angel lady helped us and we finally found the street, so we get to this house and this cute girl answers the door and says it's raining come in!!! SHES FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC! She met an Italian when he was on vacation there and they moved here and have 2 kids! She then proceeded to tell us that she works 7 days a week unless it is raining, so it was a miracle that we saw her:) Her mom had also just moved here from the DR so only spoke Spanish but she came in and listened. We had a really spiritual lesson and I'm so grateful God made it rain that day so we could go and find her! Last night was one of my favorite moments ever. Cute, cute Fratello Lagatolla has been struggling with smoking again and he's heart broken and so are we so we're trying to do all we can to get him back on track! He called us up last week and told us he wants to do an hour of missionary work with us every week, so last night we met him in Centro. He's lived here for 70 years now and is the friendliest person in the world so you can imagine all the people he knows in this city-he literally stopped everyone he knew and we had the opportunity to talk to all his friends and explain who we are. Then he would bear his testimony it was SO awesome and we found some people who I believe are ready to hear the gospel. We then went and sat in a gelateria and shared Grazie a Lui and at the end Angelo took off his glasses wiped away all his tears and said this video contains everything we need to know and we testified how our Savior will help us overcome any difficulty or trial we have and it was just so spiritual!! Miracle #82798 from this week, we were walking to an appointment one morning and Sorella Nelson and I both walked by this lady and said hi to her and then she stops us, looks at us for awhile and looks at our name tags and then says I was baptized in your church many many years ago! She then proceeds to tell us that she is going out of town and will be back next week and we must come by and see her on Thursday:) She gave us her address and her number and then walked away....we have no record of her on our ward list or anything, we are so excited to meet with her and her family....the Lord works in mysterious ways:) We have continued to go over and teach cute Antonia, the woman who was taught for 4 years. We taught her the restoration last week the spirit was very strong and we invited her to be baptized, she was a bit hesitant but agreed that we all go to church next week, eat pranzo together and then start a fast for her and her daughter who can't have children right now. I can't wait, her heart has softened over the past years she hasn't been taught and I think with time she will see how the gospel will change her and her family's life! On our way back from her house I sat next to this man on the bus that I've talked to before. He's Muslim and from Africa, we've talked a bit about what he believes and he said he believes that Jesus Christ was a prophet...and I thought, I can't let this man leave this bus thinking that that's the only thing our Savior has done for him--so I just testified of our Savior and his atonement and that He suffered for this sweet man and He loves him and knows Him personally. And at the end the man just quietly said thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Many times:) He told me the next time we see each other he wants a Book of Mormon in French. This gospel is for EVERYONE. One of my most cherished experiences of my mission was last week on the #4 bus, haha so we walk on the bus and I see a cute nun with an empty seat next to her so I go and sit next to her and we start talking...turns out she speaks English really well! She asked me what we believe in and I was able to talk about the restoration and the Book of Mormon and then she told me what she believed in and how we're both serving the Lord :) It was almost her stop to get off the bus so we exchanged numbers, she stands up, winks at me and says "go save them" and walks off the bus! Hahaha I will cherish this moment for the rest of my life. I could talk about a thousand more awesome and spiritual and funny experiences this last week but there's not quite enough time:) Mannnn I love being a missionary, there's nothing better! I love you all and miss you so much! Ciao tutti vi voglio un sacco di bene Sorella Taylor It has been such a wonderful week....where to start :)
One day we had planned to meet with 5 new people to teach! We had confirmed every single lesson, some of them were even double confirmed haha:) However, within the first few hours of the day every single one of those people gave us a bidone and bailed on us, along with backup plans. So we were left with a WHOLE free day. It was so interesting because at first we were quite discouraged. Satan was working so hard on us but then we just pushed those feelings away and put forth our effort and called and called and made lots of new appointments, and guess what? We got a new investigator out of it! Wahoo for Remmo! He is the husband of a member in our ward, Sorella Lossandro. He had met with missionaries for quite a long time we saw on his progress record but had never been taught the lessons. So we thought we would go teach him the restoration!. He's in his 70s, he just got his toes cut off in a surgery so unfortunately he can't come to church for a couple weeks:) Anyways he actually really listened intently as we taught. The spirit was strong and his wife bore the most beautiful testimony. She's been a member for almost 35 years now! We invited Remmo to read the Book of Mormon and he said he will, and as we were all 3 bearing testimony he was like wow I have 3 witnesses here that this church is true. And we were like yes Remmo it is true and he said I know :) We then went finding and found some people, specifically this couple who are so ready to hear the gospel! They were so cute and open and wiling to talk to us. Within a minute of talking to us the wife said, well when are you going to come over and explain more about this church? It was a bit shocking but really exciting and we got their number:) At the end of the day Sorella Nelson and I both realized how lucky we were to have gotten all those bidones because there were some other people who needed to hear about the gospel that day. Sorella Magno....of course she answered the door in her bright pink onesie! We talked for a while, she is seriously the best missionary and talks about the gospel every single day with people....one day we walked past this guys mechanic shop and he was like "Mormons! Sorella Magno! She came by one time and told me about your church! Look-she even got my number and has been texting me!" Haha it was just so funny cause he was this big guy who looked like Santa and was covered in car grease and cute little Sorella Magno had gone over and talked to him about the gospel. Anyways we went out and were visiting with her and she was just so sad because she doesn't have a car and can't go visit people and share the gospel as much as she would like to. So we had the idea to teach her how to share Mormon messages from the church on Facebook and she almost had a heart attack she was so excited! Haha she loved it so much, and within 5 minutes had blown up Facebook with Mormon messages :) So if any of you ever need a little lift go add Rosa on Facebook :) it was so cute. I have been praying to have more charity for Sorella Montrone, haha every time we go by she yells at us and tells us how much she doesn't like us but she is less active and needs our help. She has never been married, all her family has passed away and she has a little peg foot and just stays inside all day:( we thought we would go share the video mountains to climb with her and I was just so nervous to take Sorella Nelson there, her first week in Bari haha.) Anyways we walked into her house and it took a while for her to warm up to us, we said a prayer and then showed the video and she absolutely LOVED it. She was so touched and talked to us about how she knows Jesus Christ can feel her pain, and bore a beautiful testimony on the Savior. Usually I walk out of her house on the the verge of tears because she's not always the friendliest, but today I was on the verge of tears cause the spirit was so strong and it just hit me that Christ really did suffer for this woman, and He is the only person that truly understands her! Special experience :) Isaac is doing awesome he just finished the Book of Mormon AUGURI!!!! He is preparing to receive the priesthood so we are probably going to pass him over to the anziani soon for them to start teaching him wahoooo. Gabriella is also doing awesome, we did a lesson on baptism last week and invited her to be baptized and she said with time if she comes to know that these things are true she will be baptized. MIRACLES every day! She told us she felt a feeling of enthusiasm when she was praying about our church, a feeling she's never experienced before. Super happy for her:) Monica from Venezuela came to church again yesterday yay! She's moving to London next week for this nanny job and told us that she's going to find the church there and we will be contacting the missionaries there. I am so happy we were able to teach her and get her back to church a few weeks before she goes to London, tender mercy! One day Sorella Nelson and I were going through our area book and we found a lady who had been taught for 4 YEARS and came to church but never accepted the gospel! So we gave her a call and she told us we could come over the next afternoon :) As soon as we got to her house she had forgotten we were coming over and was in the process of handmaking ravioli, which is a very difficult process and no Italian wants to be interrupted when they're cooking:) she was super cute probably in her 70s, anyways we started talking to her about the church and she said she loved the church, had read a lot of the Book of Mormon and she loved what the missionaries taught her but felt so bad because all of her family was Catholic and didn't want to turn away from them. She said she made herself forget all the things she had learned about our church so she wouldn't feel bad going back to the Catholic Church. As we were teaching I know things were familiar to her and that she could feel the spirit, we asked her if we could come back and teach her and she said yes:) I'm so excited! We met a cute lady on the street the other night coming back from a Catholic Church and we started talking to her about who we are and what we do as missionaries! She said come over tomorrow and explain to me more:) (she looked like she was maybe 65 or 70) so we did, as we were talking she said guess what! My birthday is next month and I'm TURNING 93!!!! Haha what in the world we were so shocked! She's so cute and in such good health, has more energy than Sorella Nelson and I combined and was running around the kitchen. Anyways we got to share Grazie a Lui with her and our purpose as missionaries and a bit about the restoration...she said she's Catholic and will never change but that's what everyone says here so we just have to keep tryin, I know she felt something different so I'm excited to teach this cute cute lady...haha hopefully she lives a bit longer :) Lucia and Niccol, oh mamma Mia one of my favorite couples I have ever met here in Bari:) we met Lucia at English course and she invited us to come over to lunch one day! We go over to their house and her husband Niccol is the greatest guy I've ever met. He looks exactly like the old man on back to the future, he makes movies and just made a movie called Focaccia Blues and it's ALL OVER THE USA! Haha he was so excited to tell us. During the ENTIRE lunch they were asking us so many questions about our church, why we are here and what we do and were just so cute and open and willing to listen to us...they weren't trying to prove to us that the Catholic Church was true or anything, simply all out of curiosity:) and by the end cute Niccol laughed and was like "Lucia I think I like the Mormons better than our church!" Haha....So we are going to to go see them next week I can't wait! Awesome week! So grateful to be here, love you all thanks for all the love and support xoxo Sorella Taylor Prepare for the novel...I can't help it....
It's been SUCH A WONDERFUL WEEK!!!!! I am so so so happy, everything has been busy and awesome and we have seen so many miracles in the last little while. It's so good to be a missionary:):) Sister Nelson is one of the greatest people I've met, she's always so happy and we get along SO well!!! From Logan, went to Dixie and loves to rock climb and be outdoors so ya we have a bit in common:)) Helping the other 3 sisters get to know the area and people and where the church is and where the grocery store is and trains and buses and how our "washing machine" works and how to shower without flooding the house it's all been such a fun experience haha!! For those of you who know me, (family), I'm not very much aware of my surroundings so this has been so good for me to have 5000 street names crammed in my brain:) Sister Nelson was a bit in awe when she walked off the train cause of how huge this city is, she just came from Caserta where the buildings are only a few stories high and there was one little Main Street that they walked down to go finding:) So many new things. CHANGE IS GOOD and she's brought so many miracles, doesn't let a single person go by without talking to them. Saying goodbye to Sorella Dew was really sad, being with someone for a straight 4 1/2 months and then not seeing them for a whole year is pretty weird. She has taught me SO much I am so grateful for her!!!! It was hard especially watching her say goodbye to the members and our investigators that she has been close with for the last 6 months. So many wonderful people to love here. When Sorella Nelson walked into our church for the first time last week she just broke down in tears. She was in a small small ward in Caserta by the American base so most members were American. She had no idea the church was like this in Italy and when she saw our baptism font she was so touched! It was a really neat experience and again reminded me how blessed we are to be serving here--it's gonna be THE BEST TRANSFER:) So Giada is doing wonderful, I am beyond happy for her. Really there is nothing more beautiful than watching someone change their life around and feel the love that the Savior and Heavenly Father have for them again. We found out she actually lives in Libertas area so we're passing her over to the Liberta sorelle and they will be great for her:) Sad I won't be able to watch her progress but I know she is SO ready for this gospel and this gospel will CHANGE her life!!! MICHELA. So the very first day I was in Italy this 15 yr old girl Michela walked up to Sorella Dew and I and told us she was interested in learning more about our church after hearing the spiritual thought in our English corso. Then after teaching her about 3 times and giving her a baptism date she told us her family situation was a bit hard and she wouldn't be able to meet with us anymore and we were heart broken because she was so ready, she LOVED the restoration and knew it was true. But we knew that the time just wasn't right and God would eventually provide a way:) Well we finally got a hold of her last week and on mine and Sorella Dews last night together she met with us. It was such a HUGE miracle, I have no idea what changed but she told us how she felt something missing in her life the last 3 months and how it's been hard, her parents are getting divorced. Anyways, we had a lesson with her all on Christ and how He can help her overcome anything and we would love to start teaching her again if she felt that way. We're teaching her the restoration TOMORROW!!!!!! Words can't express how grateful and excited I am. MONICA. So last week at English course this girl offered to read the Book of Mormon for our spiritual thought. Afterwards I went over and talked to her, she's 26, from Venezuela, she moved here 3 months ago looking for work and is living all alone, super lonely doesn't have any friends. I asked her if she is religious, she laughed and said I am a member of the church:) WHAT! Turns out she and her family were born in the church, but when she was 13 she and the rest of her family went inactive. So we asked her if we could have a lesson with her and we did, it was the most beautiful thing to see how as we were talking so many things were familiar to her and she told us how at peace she was!!! And she came to church yesterday for the first time in 13 YEARS! It was so sweet, she loved singing the hymns and she participated so much in gospel principles and was taking notes in relief society it was so cute:) Anyways she found work in London as a nanny and is moving in a month so we're going to contact the missionaries there and make sure they get her coming back to church!! Such a tender mercy. God literally places people in our path. So the Lagatolla couple....some of my favorite people I have ever met:) They're in their 60s, have a pet turtle, their favorite movie is Mr Bean, Angelo has the best stache I've seen and his wife makes pasta all day every day! Anyways we've been working hard with them ever since I got here and last week when we went and saw them Angelo said I have a surprise for you two:) Then he sat down, put his arm around his wife, kissed her shoulder and said what do I need to do so that I am sealed to this lady forever? We want to go to the temple!! Ahhhh I couldn't stop smiling it was one of the best moments of my LIFE! So we made a plan with them and prayed with them and the Spirit was so powerful, the joy we all felt in that moment was indescribable:) Saturday we planned to go and visit Fratello and Sorella Valentini and choose something with them to fast for. They are such a wonderful couple, have 4 children and 2 who served missions who are now inactive and it just has broken their hearts! So before we even said anything they started talking to us about their daughters and Fratello Valentini said maybe we could start a fast now to know how to help them? We smiled and said that's EXACTLY what we wanted to do:) it was a really special experience, we all said a prayer together and started our fast. Something I'll never forget! I am just so sad for these daughters because they left the church because of something that happened with members. So many of us forget that the people and members of the church aren't perfect but the GOSPEL IS PERFECT. that's why it is so beautiful. It is constant and I know that Gods love for these 2 daughters is constant and he will provide a way for them to come back:)speriamo bene I am so happy. I don't think I've ever been more exhaustedly happy in my entire life!!!! Haha I still have so much to learn, I learn more every day about the gospel, how to be a better teacher, how to speak Italian, how to get around this city, how to cook something besides pasta, how to read a map, how to speak on the phone with old Italian women speaking dialect, how to avoid Italian men attracted to my companions beautiful long blonde hair, how my digestive system works, but most importantly I have learned more about my Savior Jesus Christ and His gospel and how it has changed my life. I LOVE sharing this with people every day!!!!!! This gospel is so true :) Xoxo until next time....:) Sorella Taylor Well this week was SO GOOD!!! I just want to say that I am so grateful to be a missionary...there's seriously nothing better than to be testifying of our Savior every single day in every single moment! These past 6 months I have had some of the most spiritual and cherished experiences and I am SO grateful to be a part of the Lords work in bringing the WORLD His truth!!!! Transfer calls were on Saturday, Sorella Dew is going back to her birth city Rome 3 and I am staying here and getting Sorella Nelson who's in Napoli right now!!!!!! Wahoo so excited she is one transfer older than me and is SO CUTE! Saturday took Sorella Brunson to the airport, it was like saying bye to the fam all over again...she is one of the best people/missionaries I know and has shaped my mission so grateful I got to serve with her!
So to start...:) there were lots of people to see this week because Sorella Brunson was leaving and we saw so many crazy miracles! One of which was we had 8 meal appointments this last week, (3 of which were in one day) and we prayed that we would be able to make it through this week without getting sick or throwing up and God definitely blessed us and helped us through the week, and helped us to waddle to all of our appointments haha. One of my favorite experiences this week, we went and saw Sorella Calebrese in the nursing home, she's pretty lonely...oh mamma she is 92 years old and so full of life!!! Every time we see her my stomach hurts cause I'm laughing so much. The best is she's not supposed to eat sweets but at all the meals she steals all these cookies and rolls and hides them in a huge napkin and locks them up in the cupboard in her room. And then she shares them with us :) she told us how she used to like to dance so we turned on some Italian Efy music and danced with her!!! Haha she was so happy and cute, she has some of the best dance moves I've ever seen for a 92 year old. Monday night we went over to Grazias, every time we see them they seem to be doing better and better and more happy. Grazia has found a little work that will help them out right now which is such a huge blessing. She used to own a pizzeria so she is an incredible cook and she had prepared a huge dinner with fried pastries, along with panzarotti and pizza! We literally couldn't breathe, this is no exaggeration. We taught the little girls how to make brownies and they loved it! Then we read this book with them "You Are Special" (tu sei speciale) it was so cute. And when Grazia was reading it she was like hey this is just like me and how God feels about me! And we testified how they are all daughters of God and they are so special and have so much potential. And God loves them so much and knows them personally and He created them and didn't create errors. He loves them so much. The spirit was really strong, it was a beautiful night, and every time we go over they become more and more prepared for this Gospel. We gave the little girls the children's Book of Mormon with the pictures that I used to read when I was little and they LOVED it! One night we went to Carbonara to go teach our investigator Anna, haha boy shes a hoot. She is the most catholic person I have ever met here...It was really cool cause she asked us if she could show us this prayer she does to this saint and we were like va bene and as she was saying this memorized prayer the room just felt so empty and I was just so sad that people don't understand they can pray to Heavenly Father and have a personal conversation with him and just pour out their hearts instead of saying this memorized prayer!!! And immediately after we showed her the Mormon message "Mountains to Climb" and the Spirit just entered the room and the difference between that moment and the way I felt before was incredible and so discernible! It was incredible I couldn't hold back the tears. She was more quiet than she's ever been after watching this and we all just testified that she can have this relationship with our Heavenly Father, that He loves her and she needs to pray tonight to ask God to feel this love. We then said a prayer with her at the end and I could really feel that we were talking to God and that He was listening and I know Anna could feel it as well. It was so cool. After Anna's we went and waited for the bus! It takes about 30 minutes to get from her house to the church and we had a lesson with Giada to get to. The bus was late and after waiting for about 15 minutes at the dark cold stop we all said a prayer and as soon as we opened our eyes the bus was coming down the street. GOD IS SO AWARE OF US. We made it to the lesson on time with Giada and Giuseppe:) We got to teach her the restoration and it was AWESOME! She understood that this has so much importance for her and Giuseppe shared a powerful testimony of how he came to know this was true. She was like, I'm curious why do I need to be baptized again if I've all ready been baptized (in the Catholic Church)? And when we explained the priesthood authority and everything she just got it. It was so cool and you could tell the Spirit was testifying to her of the truth of these things. she seemed so happy. We then both felt prompted to invite her to be baptized and afterwards she smiled, and said yes, when I know that these things are true I will be baptized :) AHHHH! It was so cool. She has a baptism date for February 27th! We had dinner with Giuseppe's family one night, he is the only member but WOW his family is so ready and so prepared for this gospel. They are the most united and loving and stable family I have met here in Italy and I know the gospel will bless them so much. They all came to Giuseppe's baptism a few months ago and were so touched by the change they have seen in him. Anyways Giuseppe is getting ready to go take names to the Switzerland temple in March with the rest of the ysas, (Young Single Adults), and when he asked his family if he could do their family's work his parents said YES! Their hearts are being softened and I am so grateful!!! We also went and saw the Lossandros last night, cute couple in their 80s. He's not a member but the wife is and she's an angel, he told us last night he had a dream that he was in a room with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father asked him why he hasn't been praying and talking to Him, so Remmo has been praying every day the last week and has began to develop a relationship with God. So beautiful to watch someone's heart change. I love the gospel so much, it's the most simple yet beautiful and true message we have and sharing it with the people of Italy the last 6 months has changed my life! I feel so close to my Savior and Heavenly Father. I'm so happy I'm staying here in Bari, I'm not quite ready to leave these people! Ciao ciao love you all :) Sorella Taylor Xoxo |
